The owner, Patty Bach, has been taking care of pets all of her life. She needed to find a pet sitter for her dog, Major, but she had trouble finding a reliable resource. This forced her to kennel her dog, which wasn’t a good experience for him. She knew that she didn’t want her dog or other pets to be left in an uncomfortable situation, so she decided to open a pet sitting service in Winter Garden, FL in 1996.
Patty and her family moved to Cullowhee, NC in August of 2008 and continued their pet sitting service. In February of 2009, they joined the Jackson County Chamber of Commerce.
Along with her husband Seth and son Zachary, Patty and her family wanted to expand their business and provide reliable pet care in WNC. They found a business location in Waynesville and moved there in June of 2011. They are looking forward to taking care of your pets. |

Dogs
Dog kennel services – We offer four different sized, decorated condos for boarding. Some are family enclosures; some are penthouses for toy dogs, and all are provided with comfortable sling beds and blankets. All condos are cleaned and sanitized daily including the bedding. Additionally, older dogs are provided a cushioned non-slip rubber mat for their comfort. We dispense any needed medications following owner’s directions. We have spacious outdoor exercise areas for all dogs, including any climber and/or digger. The dogs are exercised in these areas a minimum of 3 times a day. For your pet’s enjoyment and relaxation, we offer playtimes, one-on-one time with a staff member, for a small additional charge. There is a large grassy play area for these activities.

Cats
The kitty condos are in a separate building from the dogs. This area is also climate-controlled and is highly visible at all times. Each kitty condo has a window and elevated perch. The kitty condos are large enough to accommodate up to 3 family cats if desired. Our cat-loving staff enjoys interacting with our feline guests, and individual playtimes are available for a small additional charge.
Exotic Animals & Birds
Noah’s Ark will tend to your bird, guinea pig, ferret, hamster, or rabbit. Our motto is, “If they are welcome in your house, they are welcome in ours.”
All of our boarders are fed a super premium food, Diamond, unless food is provided by the owner. Every effort is made to feed your pet on the same schedule as they are fed at home. Water is available to your pet at all times. There is no additional charge for feeding owner-provided special diets.
