We r set up like a miny motel with 3 different size rooms to accommodate all sizes and multi dog families! ! Everything is tiled,each room has a window, the walls dont go all the way to the ceilling so its an open type feeling for them and keeps the A/C circulating good,yes its climate controlled.we dont open till 9 but start with the pups at 7:30.We get them out every 2 hours and after a nice walk they get bout 15 minutes of playtime with us or for the elderly pups we sit and give some loving,point is we dont just walk them and put back in room.To me this is the main difference,we spend time with and get to know them and can HONESTLY say almost all the dogs TRULY love coming here!!Were not bathing or giving shots, we just walk them,feed them,play and give loving to them! ! My clients are always so surprised how much the dogs pull them in here!! I actually have a couple customers that have willed there dog to me cause they know thell b well taken care of till we find them a new home!! We also do a night walk and play session which as a animal owner is important to me.Most places leave at 5-6 for the day, to me thats WAY to long so we come back every night at 8 and do last walks before tucking the babys in :-) The whole place has security with motion sensors and security cameras so the pups r always safe :-)
Were located just minutes from either I-95 or the turnpike for anybody outa area.We offer pick up and drop off 7 days and nights to make it easier to get ur baby soon as u can.I couldnt imagine being home wid out mine so i try my best to help people when they arrive back in town! According to Bradenton lore, the kennel we call DogStars has been in existence for about 65 years. It is even mentioned in John McDonald’s famous Travis McGee series. It started with a house in what was, then, the ‘country.’ That house is now home to our catterie and a new house was built on the property sometime in the 1990s. Then came the main kennel with 30+ air-conditioned indoor/outdoor kennel runs. Next came a separate air-conditioned building just for little dogs. |
