Appointments
Our appointment book is computerized which allows us to efficiently make appointments for you and your pet. Our receptionists and team will attempt to accommodate all requests to the best of our ability. Emergencies are accepted anytime our clinic is open. If you feel you have an emergency with your pet, please call us or come to the hospital immediately. If possible it is best to call before coming in so that a staff member can advise you on your particular emergency.
Emergency & Urgent Care
We have a veterinarian and personnel on duty 7 days a week who are trained and equipped to handle any urgent care your pet has. Usually an emergency team consists of at least one veterinarian and several technicians working together to save a pet's life. Emergencies can be things such a snail bait poisoning, hit by car, and chocolate ingestion.
We are also available for urgent care when the condition is not life-threatening, but you feel your pet needs to be seen before you are able to get an appointment. Our veterinarians will work to "squeeze" you in between scheduled appointments. When you arrive, our receptionists will be able to give you an estimate on how long you may have to wait in order to be seen. |

Catopia’s condos are comprised of two sizes of suites: the Standard suite and the Deluxe suite. Both suites are designed to provide the necessary space, stimulation and comfort so as to reduce stress for both feline and parent. Each suite includes vertical space for a feeling of security; comfy blankets for sleeping; cat-walks for stretching and pacing; and a place to hide for the scaredy-cat. Catopia also provides time for play, petting, and scratching.
Catopia’s Standard suites can accommodate up to a 2 cat family. Several of the standard suites have their own spacious window perches with a secure operational window to provide fresh air.
Catopia’s Deluxe suites are the most spacious with the capacity to accommodate up to a 5 cat family. Each deluxe suite has its own access to “Camp Catawanda”, Salem’s only fully enclosed outdoor play structure. |

Our training program starts with basic obedience, proceeding to collar conditioning and the “Conditioned Retrieve.” We then proceed to marking drills on land and water while working on teaching the dogs to “Handle” on blind retrieves. We believe that a gentle approach to training results in dogs that perform willingly with style. Each dog has its own personality and not all dogs advance at the same pace; therefore, we adjust our training to meet the need of the dog. We are proud to have been able to take dogs that other trainers have “failed,” and turn them into good hunting dogs.
Our boarding services are intended to provide a safe and healthy environment for dogs while their owners are on vacation (usually less than a month). If you need longer term boarding, then we recommend that you put your dog into our training and conditioning program. While at Coyote Creek Boarding we work with your dog encouraging it to be social and obediant Our kennels are primarily set up for the retriever breeds, but can accommodate smaller dogs as well. We can also accommodate special dietary needs with advance notice. |

Countryside is a completely modern facility in an idyllic country setting on 10.5 wooded acres. A tree-lined lane leads from 282nd Avenue to the receiving and parking area. We offer a variety of services such as Professional grooming, Spa treatments and a retail store. We have been vote "Best Pet Kennel" 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012. Our philosophy has always been to care for our guests the way we would want our pets cared for. We have 50 units for large breeds and 50 for small and senior pets. Each guest space has a 12 sq. ft. heated sleeping/eating area and a 40 sq. ft. play area that is well ventilated but is enclosed from the elements. Our cattery is located in a separately heated, sound proof wing with 24 kitty condos, some of which are connected with a door so kitties from the same family can visit back and forth but still have some privacy. The cattery contains its own sunny bay window play room with climbers and toys where every guest individually spends time daily. Countryside Pet Spa employs an average of 10 to 12 staff members to care for our guests and maintain the facility. The Dog House is proud to offer overnight boarding 365 days a year. The best part is that your pooch gets to play with us at our indoor playground each day! Every boarded dog has their own private suite that is furnished with beds, food and water, and plenty of toys. We recommend keeping our boarded guests on a familiar diet to alleviate any undue stress. So please bring your pup's favorite food as well as any toys or blankets that will assist in making their stay as comfortable as possible. Dirt and dogs go hand-in-hand. Come in and give your pooch a wash. We supply the tub, towels, shampoo, conditioner, aprons and blow dryer. We even have facial wash and ear cleaner for your convenience. Alpha Valley Boarding Kennel is the product of the hard work of Kyrstin Wallace and her devoted team. The kennel was previous called Alpha Gay Kennels and Kyrstin learned about the care and behavior of dogs through working there for five years, starting at the age of sixteen.
Once Kyrstin got her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Southern Oregon University she entered the work force and found that she missed being with dogs and caring for them more then anything. She knew that pursuing a career in animal care would make her happy, so she approached the previous owners, Tamara and Perry Dudley and offered to buy the kennel. After 3o plus years they were ready to retire and they knew Kyrstin would continue their tradition of impeccable care for dogs and cats.
